Welcome to Milling About ...

I have long been a professional writing procrastinator. In high school I wrote papers the night before they were due; in college I wrote newspaper articles with just minutes left until publication. For about three years now I have been working on a children's book. I started writing last May but am mired in chapter three. In November I began a novel, but it is similarly stalled. So here I am in a new arena, late to the wedding but eager to enjoy the marriage of individual journalism and the Internet. Journalism, of course, is exactly what I intend to share on these pages.
